Er erstreckt sich \u00fcber ca. 3.200 Kilometer von der franz\u00f6sischen Atlantikk\u00fcste in der Bretagne bis zum italienischen Venedig. Dabei durchquert er Frankreich, die Schweiz, Liechtenstein, \u00d6sterreich und Deutschland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der E5 ist bei Wanderern sehr beliebt, sowohl wegen seiner landschaftlichen Sch\u00f6nheit als auch wegen der kulturellen Vielfalt, die man entlang des Weges erleben kann. Er bietet eine gro\u00dfartige M\u00f6glichkeit, Europa zu Fu\u00df zu erkunden und dabei Natur und Kultur intensiv zu erleben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wegbeschreibung<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Europ\u00e4ischer Fernwanderweg E5 im Passeiertal<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>St. Leonhard (693m) &#8211; Pfandler Alm (1.345m) &#8211; \u00fcber Mahdalm zur Hirzer H\u00fctte (2.050m)<\/strong><br><br>Ab St. Leonhard in Passeier f\u00fchrt der E5 in die Sarntaler Alpen. Dem Hinweisschild Pfandler Alm folgen. An der Volksschule und am Schildhof Happerg vorbei, dem Andreas &#8211; Hofer &#8211; Rundweg folgend, bis bei einem Rastplatz der E5 halblinks abschwenkt. Etwa 1\/2h sp\u00e4ter \u00fcberschreitet man den Fartleisbach bei der Gilfklamm und erreicht die Stra\u00dfe St. Martin &#8211; Pfandlerhof. Bei der \u201eHofkapelle\u201c (Bildstock) links einbiegen auf Weg Nr. 1. Er \u00fcberquert einige Minuten sp\u00e4ter die Stra\u00dfe schr\u00e4g rechts. In der N\u00e4he des Gruberhofes wird die Stra\u00dfe abermals gekreuzt. Dann erreicht man den Weiler Prantach. Der Weg zieht sich \u00fcber eine Wiese hoch, passiert eine kleine Kapelle und st\u00f6\u00dft auf den Pfandlerhof. Nun weiter steil hinauf in den Wald. Links begrenzt eine aufgeschichtete Steinmauer den Weg. Weiter hoch bis zur Pfandler Alm. Dann bis zu einem Hochwald und steilen Grash\u00e4ngen empor. Linkshaltend, in den S\u00fcdhang der Riffelspitze. Nun schwenkt der E5 aus der Ost- in die S\u00fcdrichtung ein. Weiter f\u00fchrt die Route \u00fcber die Westh\u00e4nge des Prantachkogels und des Kreuzjochs, quer einen Wildbachgraben, ber\u00fchrt ein Waldst\u00fcck und leitet zur Mahdalm. Jenseits des Grafeisenbaches erreicht man die Hinteregg Alm und nach einer weiteren 1\/2h die Hirzer H\u00fctte (2.050m).<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-advancedgallery
